[7 words per day] Crime & The Law

My favorite English teacher once said that it would be effective the most if we learn 7 words per day. He said that scientists call this the magic number. An article published by Cambridge also says the same thing.

So, here we go!

Each day, I will post here 7 new words or useful phrases through examples (from books, articles or dictionary) . I think persistence is the key to master anything in life. Let's make this become the new habit :)

The topic for today is…

What kind of the character is hidden inside of us? The materialism versus the experiences

I can see myself somewhere in the simple house with packed luggage and for sure I am about to set for the trip. Ohhh, wait, wait. There is a limit as for the money. You can choose – life surrounded by the luxurious things or you can choose experiences. Yes, in this case it is not so easy.…

One world!

Seats thirty, thirty one and thirty two, on the Jeddah \ Casablanca flight have been empty since our departure. I told myself to take them and lie there for awhile as long as the flight usually takes about six to seven hours. I took them. In front of me, two happy ladies were talking about  going back to their husbands in the Ukraine. I did not believe what I heard. The Russians gave back Crimea to the Ukrainians and withdrew from there. The Americans decided to lift the…

The Double Barel Gun

The Double Barrel Gun

My wife and I were on board of the airbus that was on its way to Ranchi with a brief stopover at Kolkata. Captain Sanjay Kumar Singh announced that we were 2ooo’,  above and will reach Calcutta in two and half hours. Then the chief of the cabin crew took over with her instructions. The beautiful air hostess started demonstrating the use of seat belt, emergency exits, oxygen mask and the live jacket kept under our seats. We reached the exit at Ranchi…

To look into their eyes and to see their love they give u is worth living. To watch them growing up and to realize they have similar character , these all are aspects of life that give us - parents energy and inspire us to live colorful and…

English

I’m very shy when I have to speak in English because I’m worried about making mistakes.

I understand a lot of what they are saying but it is difficult to speak.

The reason is that I have a lot of Japanese friends.

Of course, I have many foreign friends but they speak in Japanese, not in English.

I try to speak to my mother’s friends because they are only speaking in English.

For me, it’s good for improving my English skills.

My mother often tells me…
