Add Voice To Your Blog

One complaint I hear often from English learners is that they don't have anyone to practise their speaking skills with. It can be difficult to find a place to do this online. Finding the perfect time to connect with friends or teachers is difficult.

Have you thought about voice blogging? Voice blogging is a fun way to practise speaking in English. There are two things you can do:

1) Record your blog posts. Write the text first, then record what you wrote. Place the recording above the text on your blog post.

2) Record yourself speaking without a script (no text). This style is more informal. You will make mistakes. You will stutter. You will forget what you wanted to say. That's okay!

You can use several different recorders, but I recommend Audioboo or Cinch. These embed nicely on MyEC. You can also make your recordings on your own computer and upload them to your MyEC music player.

If you have any problems using voice recorders or embedding them into a blog post, please contact me.

Please join this group if you have "voiced blogged" more than once on MyEC!

@ Monica Jimenez

This is your "Vocaroo"  Voice Message.

You've a beautiful accent and excellent pronunciation! It's great to have you, with an impeccable spoken English, among us. Thank you for joining the Voice Bloggers!

Now, I would humbly suggest that in future embed the Vocaroo Audio Player here, instead of giving the link! I'm pretty sure you'll agree with me that it would be much convenient for all of us. Ok! Welcome and Have Fun, Monica!

Best regards,

~* GS *~

P.S. Click here to learn how to embed the audio player.
