Most of us, I am sure, have the experience sitting alone before the sea. We like it, why, maybe "the voice of the sea speaks to the soul", maybe there exists a 'communication'.  What do you think?

Sure my friend. There's no feeling like this to me. I don't know if it speaks to me but few things in this life comfort and soothe me like this sensation. Hopefully I'll experience it again this weekend.

Sure, try to put your feelings in words when coming back.

Main samandar bohot pasand, lakin main terakee nahi janta. We live in a coastal city. I used to pass by the seashore every day. Then, my colleges suggested we go to the sea on Friday, not for swimming but to sit there and eat dinner. To my surprise, a strange feeling came to me. I felt relaxed and my thoughts were traveling from one place to many different places. I told my friends that I passed here every day. I never tried to stay for ten or fifteen minutes to enjoy the sound of the waves and experience such a cozy feeling. It is nice of you to bring our discussions from wives and their eyes.

Maybe Spongebob and Patrick are yelling at me and saying “You’re going to be great!” Kidding!

Let’s cut the comedy, maybe ironically speaking, the solitude speaks to us, or it’s the silent part of ourselves. When we visit a nature alone, we often hears something from within, little we realize the person in us wants to talk to us but because most of the time we are with other people, we don’t pay much attention to our silent persona, the inner self.

Watching blue color of the sea, walking along the beach on sands and finding seashells, listening to the sound of waves,.....these beauties attract every person.

Thanks Risty for very comprehensive comment. Very true.

Saba, yes it is so. Thank for your participation in the discussion.

Thanks dara for sharing your 'sea' experience.  Yes, nature gives us deep feelings and Its existence.

Dear Mishaikh, it is a great discussion! I think that many people have something to say about that. It is my understanding , there are two very powerful opposite elements that fascinate us. They are water and fire. Both are destroying, but both are life-giving. And it is a true mistery why we feel so good, quiet, relaxed looking at them knowing their true power! We live right on the bank of the river, it is in our back yard, and it takes us 5 min to get to the seashore by boat or about 10 min to get there by car. As we are used to living at the sea, it doesn't impess us in the daytime when we go to the beach to tan, to swim, to play volleyball. But everything changes when the sun goes down! When I sit on the sand in the moonlight looking at the sea, I just drift away. I forget all my troubles and worries, I am just out of here! It is such great feeling! I feel a part of nature, a part of the ocean! Who knows, maybe it is genetic memory that makes us feel like that: life arose in the ocean. I don't know if it speaks to me, but I know for sure, I can't live without it and I would like to become its part when I pass away.

Thank you!

Danny your comment is very imressive and true to life. Thanks.
Dear Mishaikh,
as for my relationshiop with the sea, I can say I love nature and everything about it. The bad thing is - we have no see here in my country.. However, I do love spending time by the sea because it is unique and so special to me. I have been to Spain, Italy, Croatia, Rhodes, Crete - so I have only seen in my life Mediterranean sea but I am thankful to it! I love just sitting by the sea, especially in the evening and watching everything around. I enjoy switching off my brain and simply listening to the waves and feel the beauty of the moment. Sea makes me calm and relaxed, in fact it gives me energy and makes me feel free and connected with it :)

hi, yes it,s true if you are standing in-front of a sea we forgot everything's. Here we can see a mild communication arose in between sea and soul. Our mind is also like a waves its beats several times up on our little heart.I like to compare the waves with our thoughts its jumped  here and there with in our mind. But we cant hold both the waves and thoughts in our life span.
