well this is my first post here and I hope to find poeple who can help and share me thier ideas ....
well the problem is like this I have a student 13 years old she does'nt Utter words and letters well I always try to correct her pronouncation but in vian I asked her to practice at home she complains that no one in her family members speak English beside she doesn't have computer .
so what are your advices to me how can I help her to speak English well
I'm waiting &thanks to allll
I think it's not important to have computer to learn English. I think with English tapes or interesting stories, you can encourage her to learn English. Short and simple stories are really great!
thanx for ur advice but i feel that she is not intersted in all of that at allllll!!!!!!!!!!!!
you mean she isn't interested in stories? how about songs or singing? or games?
watching movies without a translating subtitle is good.(using heaadphone)
I like this idea thanx
"poeple", "thier", "does'nt", "pronouncation", "vian", "beside" (meaning besides), "advices to me", an obscene lack of punctuation marks...
Are you sure the problem is the English level of your student??
MARY:) Are you an English teacher?
Do I need to be an English teacher to point out this mess?
No, MARY, you don't need to be an English teacher to point out this mess, I am just teasing you!
And how to pronounce that? I mean this letter "y" I thought it sounds better with a solid sound of a letter "d"
That'd be the Southern pronunciation. Just chill.
